Uconnect Access App Reviews

Theres many things wrong with this app but my two greatest frustrations are: 1) the too often issue where I cannot login to the app as it reports I am logged into the Uconnect service on multiple devices which is odd as I only use one device. The only cure for this is to wait for the service reset its connections. Not great when I need this service to access Pandora, iHeart Radio, etc. in my Jeep. 2) I hate that this app is not Touch ID friendly since of all my apps its the one Im most likely to need to log into while driving (why exactly do I need to login so often Ill never figure out). So when I want to use Pandora, etc. while driving I need to first log into a service that ignores my thumbprint security and instead requires me to type a password. Ridiculous. Id say to pass on this app entirely but you cant if you want to use some nice functionality in your car but this is one reason why car makers shouldnt write apps and app makers shouldnt make cars. In summary: easily the worst user experience on my phone.

This app is a steaming pile of horse dung. You have to manually log in every day in order to use the apps in you car. The initial connection to log into each app once in the car is extremely laggy. Ive also had the phone app say it cant find my account for a couple days at a time which means you cant use any of the apps in your car. Garbage garbage garbage. I use the Bluetooth connection without any of the apps in my car as that seems to actually work consistently. Id like to use the apps in my car as the interface is much nicer but the thing is buggy as hell in its current form :-(

Worked only once!...Hasnt worked since.Ive called tech support numerous times the problem still exists.Great idea and at this point for Uconnect,thats all it is.A great idea!

I only put one star cause zero wasnt an option! I use to love it, because it allowed me to play music in the car. But I got a new phone and had to reinstall and it pops up error every time I try to log in or do anything. Ive tried in multiple places and multiple ways. FIX SOON.

Cannot even create an account!!!

It must be down bc I have yet to be able to register for an account.

Pretty sucky when the only message is Your Account creation failed. Please try again. How about a clue as to why it is failing. I dont like trying the same thing over and over and not knowing why it is failing. I give up. Im sorry I downloaded it.

So ice been trying to set up my icon next app to my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. But it keeps telling me that my "account creation is unavailable, please try again later" its been doing this now since Ive bought my car back in December and it is now April. I know Istill taking so long to say something but I life happens! Cant find any help anywhere to resolve the problem would love it if the uconnect team could reach out to me so that I can have my phone set up with my car!! Thank you!

Dealer expressed how efficient this app was but I have Verizon wireless boosted with wifi and still couldnt get my Brand New 2016 Durango AWD Limited to start. Rarely connects with the vehicle and has been a hassle since. Recommend an after market remote start.

Why do I have to pull over to switch from xm to I heart or Pandora. This is a bad app.

This app is junk. It wont start my car 2 out of 5 times. It takes minutes and minutes to process any command and a lot of times the app starts by itself on my phone. And if i am on the train or in my wifes car i cant start the car before i stop moving because... the app thinks i am driving?!

The interface looks like it was made 5 years ago and none of the remote features work. If theyre expecting me to pay for these features after my trial, theyll be sorely disappointed.

I wish I could give it zero stars! App Crashes, constantly gives me Uconnect access App error messages messages on my Ram Nav screen when I try to log into Pandora. Took my truck to the dealership to have it checked out. They claim they have had many Complaints it all revolves around the App. Pure Crap !!

This app is nice seems to offer everything anyone would ever want, expect none of it works very well. I would say this application is still in the process of becoming what it has the potential to be. The location finder for my truck works but seems to update the location once a week or so, so thats kinda useless. The unlock, lock, and run features also dont seem to work, every time I try to use them i get an email from Uconnect some time later telling me that the process has failed. Again this app has potential but isnt quite usable yet

Im confident that if Im ever locked out of my car...this app will fail me. I bet Ive opened it 20 times, and never gotten anything to work. And I wish I had a dollar for every "Network Error" Ive seen. I want to delete it, but may (God help me) need it some day. So instead I buried it deep back in my app screens.
