Only works 20%of the time. It really stinks when you rely on you phone to unlock the truck. Uconnect had been around for a while and they still can't get it right.... but they will sure charge you for the service

Awful

Doesnt work as advertised. Dont waste your time (literally). Can take up to 5-10 minutes for vehicle to receive a command.

Did an infant program this app?

To be completely honest, Ive never written a review on the App Store, but this application was so poorly crafted that morally I feel obligated to rate it 1-star. The fact you even need a 3rd party tool to play music from your iPhone is reminiscent of the early 2000s. Also, why are there only 4 options of music players? And how did both Apple Music and Spotify not make the list?! ...I cant even.

So far so good

Have connected to the vehicle (Pacifica)and tested all functionality within the app. Everything works as advertised - very cool. Was actually impressed it worked while garaged (thinking signal might not make it through). Rating reflects current performance. I will circle back if I run into any issues.

Network Error

Get network error 99% of the time when I use the app on my phone. Have to login on a computer in order for uconnect to work. Awful. So the above review automatically popped up. Im not surprised one bit. Maybe the biggest waste of money

Utterly Worthless

This could be a great app. There are some really useful features but it NEVER works. Why? Seems like the modem wont communicate with the internet. Once in a rare while it works. Then it doesnt. For days, weeks at a time. It seems connection to the network is extremely rare and short lived. Better to just delete it because it will just cause frustration looking at where your car was parked last week or how charged up it was 2 days ago and forget about honking the horn or blinking the lights etc. That said I think these issues may have less to do with the app per se and more to do with Fiat / Chrysler failing to support timely access to the net.

Logging In

Keep me logged in or at least allow for Touch ID to log me in. The OnStar app gave me an option to stay logged in. It is annoying when I just want to start my car. I dont mind having to type the pin but when I have to log in at the very beginning it is annoying. Enable Touch ID please! Also enable Apple Watch support like Hyundai!!

Super slow remote starter

Wow, it takes forever for the remote start to work. I had a Viper SmartStart installed in my last car, and it was fabulous. It would start my car in about 5-10 seconds. This one takes about 3 minutes! Thats ridiculous! The technology is there to have it work pretty much instantaneously - so why cant they update their app?? Next car I will get without the UConnect starter, and Ill get the Viper installed for about $550 (which is less than the upgrade with a new car)

Ehh Just Okay

I use it for the auto start function and like that I can track its position should it ever get stolen but its very very basic. In this day and age it should have allot more features. Simple features like a count down till the end of the auto start run time and cab temperatures should be standard. To actually impress me it you should be able to adjust the climate. Come on U-Connect and Ram get with the times.

FCA should be ashamed. An 8 year old can probably write an app better than this. Its a great idea in concept but absolutely no effort at all was put in to make this app reliable from FCA. It constantly disconnects on every trip that I make and it doesnt matter if Im streaming pandora, slacker, or iHeart I get the disconnect message and am prompted to reconnect, which never ever works (I tried it over 10 times in a row out of frustration), even though the Bluetooth signal for the phone is still connected. I have to try closing the app, cutting off the BT connection, cutting it back on, restarting the app, signing out of the app and back in, and finally trying to start a Uconnect app on the radio. All of this while barreling down the freeway during my one hour commute. It takes 10 minutes or more to get it going again, and this is during every single trip. I have had the truck for 2 months now and it seems to be getting worse. I rent a lot of different makes when traveling and used to think that the ford sync setup was the worse with the Nissan app nearby. FCA has sole possession of awful with this Uconnect app. This is so sad that with all the bad ratings and complaints FCA remains silent on addressing concerns of owners who have purchased vehicles costing $60k or more. The sad thing is that FCA could probably easily easily fix with a software upgrade to the radio and a updated version of the Uconnect app for the phone. It seems that the same type of complaints have being logged for over 3 years now. Really, really sad because I love every thing else about my vehicle.

I wish I could send my log. 80% I have responded that they not able to process my requests. And Im paying for this garbage $17 monthly. Really disappointed

Nothing works

This app and service is horrible. I paid for the service and had never been able to start my car. The only thing it is good for is the location service.

Fail

Slow unresponsive app that loses connection. Locked me out of my truck and not able to open the doors. Had to call locksmith since I was out of town. Probably by far the worst app I have ever encountered. We need to have access all the time every day all day. Messages that say Network Error try again later is totally unacceptable. I have contacted an attorney to recoup my cost of the locksmith that Uconnect created. Be looking for the paperwork in the mail.

Terrible

Still not a good app. Slow and unreliable. Subscription too expensive. Worthless.

Worst vehicle app ever

For those who have only owned Mopar products, they will say this is pretty good. For the rest of the people out there, this is by far the worst vehicle to mobile device app integration ever. The annual cost is way too high for way too little. Ford and GM both are more functional and a better value. The responsiveness of the app is also the slowest we have ever seen. It should not take seven (yes 7) minutes from the time someone request a remote vehicle start until the vehicle attempts it. Yes the phone was connected via wifi when it was attempted. They service technicians at the dealership even said they have seen it take up to 15 minutes. Same issue applies with locking and unlocking the doors. Let us not forget to mention the app crashes many times when you try and use it. It will load, then after you try to start or unlock the vehicle, you receive either an error or the app closes all together and will not log in when you reopen it. Enough said. This serves as your warning, buyer beware of Mopar and the U-Connect system and the app.

This app is not doing what its supposed to do the only option it is giving me is between some radio stations? Like where is the remote start honk horn and all that????

One step forward two steps back

I really want to like this application and the Uconnect system, but while new features are useful the core functions keep getting worse. 1) Id say about 1/3 of the time sending commands to my car fails. 2) I have to keep signing in because it randomly forgets my login info. No TouchID support and even after I login I have to use a pin. TouchID and a widget would make this 10x better. 3) You cant use the dash Uconnect system in you car while in motion, annoying, but whatever. Then they make it so your passenger cant use the Uconnect app while the car is in motion? Really? Really? We are all adults here and all this does is make people use the other apps on their phone. You arent trying to make things safer you are just shifting the liability to someone else and thats a cowardly move. I really hope they take these reviews to heart and make it better before I trade in my truck for a new one.
